Classic and elegant (like Mary herself!) Exactly the right size for half a pack of butter so you can leave the rest in the fridge. I also like the fact that because it is real china it is not heavy like some pottery dishes which, by the time you’ve put the butter in, you can hardly lift off the table. I was delighted to discover there is a discrete grey line around the edge which doesn’t show up in the pictures.

It’s a nice product, though I’d have liked more room around the edges. Butter fits very snugly, which means that if you live with people who are not bothered, you end up with lots of the products on every side inside the lid… a waster and annoying to clean. Will only fit a 260h or less.
