Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups diced mango (about 2 ripe mangoes)
- 1 ½ cups diced roma tomatoes (1–2 roma tomatoes)
- ½ cup finely chopped red onion (approximately ½ red onion)
- ½ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro (a large handful)
- 1 finely chopped jalapeño, seeds removed for less heat
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice (from 1–2 limes)
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ – ½ teaspoon Tajín seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the diced mango, roma tomatoes, red onion, cilantro, and jalapeño. Toss gently to mix.
- Drizzle lime juice over the mixture and season with sea salt. Add Tajín if using, then toss again to combine.
- Let the mixture marinate for a few minutes to enhance the flavors.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a side for grilled dishes.
Notes
Choose ripe mangoes that yield slightly to pressure for optimal sweetness.
Adjust the heat level by varying the amount of jalapeño used.
For best flavor, use the freshest herbs and produce available.
