  • 1 container (4 fl. oz / 120 ml) vegetable oil (neutral taste)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and oil until creamy.
  • Rinse and dry the yogurt container for measuring the flour and baking powder.
  • Combine the dry ingredients with the yogurt mixture until just mixed.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and bake for about 35 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  • Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack.
