- 2.25 lbs Chicken thighs (raw, skin-on and bone-in, about 4–6 chicken thighs)
- 3 tbsp BBQ Seasoning
- 1 cup BBQ Sauce (choose Hickory or Kansas City style, or even a sugar-free option)
Instructions
- Place chicken thighs in the Crockpot skin side up.
- Sprinkle BBQ seasoning over the chicken and mix well.
- Pour ⅓ cup BBQ sauce over the chicken and toss to coat.
- Cover and cook on high for 3 hours.
- Remove chicken from the Crockpot and place on a foil-lined baking sheet, skin side up.
- Brush with an additional ⅓ cup BBQ sauce.
- Broil chicken on high for 2-3 minutes until charred.
- Brush with more BBQ sauce before serving.

Choose high-quality BBQ seasoning and sauce for the best flavor.
Allow chicken to rest before serving to lock in moisture.
You can use frozen chicken thighs but increase cooking time to about 4 hours.
