Bacon Wrapped Asparagus is a wonderful combination of crispy bacon and tender asparagus. It’s low in carbs and perfect for appetizers or side dishes.

Ingredients

  • 18 spears of asparagus, trimmed
  • 6 slices of bacon, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Divide the asparagus into bundles of three spears each.
  • Wrap each bundle with a slice of bacon.
  • Arrange bundles on the baking sheet.
  • Brush with melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bacon is crispy.
  • Drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving.

Notes

Choose firm, bright green asparagus for the best flavor.
For an extra kick, use peppered bacon.
Broil for the last few minutes for enhanced crispiness.
